Sage Foundry design partners

Help shape the next generation of software for home-service businesses.

We are inviting selected owners and operators to show us how the work really runs, test focused products, and tell us where the software fits—or fails. The first research session pays $100. The strongest-fit participants may be invited into an ongoing design partnership.

Built with operators, not around them

A useful product starts with the real workflow.

We need more than a feature wish list. We need to understand who does the work, where the context lives, what breaks under pressure, and which decisions still require human judgment.

What you contribute

Operational truth and candid feedback.

  • Walk us through one real, recurring home-service workflow.
  • Explain the tools, handoffs, exceptions, and judgment calls involved.
  • Test relevant pilots in normal work—not a staged demo.
  • Join a short monthly feedback conversation while actively testing.
  • Tell us plainly when a product adds friction or misses the point.

What you receive

Influence, early access, and a defined benefit.

  • $100 after completing the initial selected research session.
  • Direct access to the Sage Foundry product team.
  • Priority invitations to relevant products built for home services.
  • Up to 12 months of complimentary access to products you actively help test.
  • A chance to shape the workflow before the product becomes harder to change.

How it works

One paid conversation can lead to a longer product partnership.

The research session and ongoing design-partner program are separate commitments. Both sides decide whether continuing makes sense.

01

Apply

Describe one workflow that should run better.

Tell us what happens today, who is involved, and where work repeatedly gets delayed, missed, or rebuilt.

02

Research

Complete a paid workflow session.

Selected applicants receive $100 after a 60–90 minute conversation about the real operating process.

03

Mutual fit

Decide whether to continue together.

We compare the workflow with our product direction. A research session does not automatically become a pilot.

04

Active pilot

Use the product and keep the feedback loop open.

Partners test relevant products, share monthly feedback, and retain complimentary access while actively participating.

Who this is for

People close enough to the work to show us what actually happens.

The best partners are owners, operations leaders, dispatchers, estimators, service managers, or field leaders with direct knowledge of a recurring workflow inside an active home-service business.

You do not need a polished process. Messy handoffs, spreadsheets, text threads, paper forms, and workarounds are often where the most useful product opportunities begin.

01

A real, recurring workflow

The problem happens often enough that improving it would matter to the business.

02

Firsthand operating context

You perform, manage, or make decisions about the workflow—not only purchase software for it.

03

Willingness to test honestly

You can make time for a short monthly conversation and will say what is not working.

Program boundaries

Early access is not an unlimited custom-software agreement.

Clear boundaries protect the partner relationship and keep the products useful across the vertical.

Product direction

Your feedback carries weight, but it is not a feature guarantee.

Sage Foundry retains product decisions so one company’s request does not distort the product for everyone else.

Complimentary access

Free means the standard pilot product you are helping test.

Custom development, special services, and third-party pass-through costs are excluded unless agreed separately.

Data and access

No system access is required to apply.

You may remove customer-sensitive details from examples. Any deeper access is discussed and approved separately.

Common questions

Know what you are agreeing to before you apply.

The initial payment recognizes the value of a completed research session. The longer partnership continues only while it remains useful to both sides.

Does every applicant receive $100?

No. We pay selected participants after they complete the scheduled 60–90 minute workflow research session. Applying by itself is unpaid.

Does the research session guarantee a design partnership?

No. After the session, both sides decide whether the workflow, product direction, and working relationship are a strong fit for an ongoing pilot.

What does “up to 12 months free” mean?

Complimentary access begins when your first included pilot product is activated and can continue for up to 12 months while you actively test and provide agreed feedback.

Will Sage Foundry build every feature we request?

No. Your feedback directly informs product decisions, but Sage Foundry chooses what to build based on shared needs across home-service businesses.
